From Shareable, a posting featuring a video from Emergent Research. Couldn’t have said it better ourselves!
(The benies become obvious the first time you cowork.)
Enjoy!

One of our Coworking buds from Fort Collins CO, Angel Kwiatkowski, did this presentation, “From Horrible to Home”, at Ignite Fort Collins. Her enthusiasm is contagious and the video is a good kick in the butt for us.
Just watch. You’ll see.
Well, we beat out natural disasters and political scandals and made the 10 o’clock news last Wednesday night (July 14). It’s sweeps month and KSAT 12 reporter David Sears came over to get a cool, local human interest story. And what could be more human of interest than coworking?
(Here’s a link to the story on the KSAT 12 site.)
Thanks to Debbie, Regina, Erik , Drew and Key for the cameos!
We met Clay Spinuzzi a few months ago at the first meeting of the Texas Coworking Coalition. Clay teaches Rhetoric at UT Austin and hosted a panel at SXSWi called “The Future of Work.”
After his panel, Amanda Congdon from sometimesdaily.com interviewed him about his panel topic and coworking in general. This is probably the best interview I’ve seen about coworking and how it relates to the today’s work world.
We’ll be bringing Clay down for a panel with some of our economic development friends on the future of work in San Antonio. Stay Tuned!
Coworking is spreading. In fact, it might be a good way to stay warm in the northern climes.
CoCo will be opening in St. Paul Minnesota sometime in January. They have a very cool, 3 story space. Check out the video.
This is from some friends in Charlottesville, Virginia. They have been building and growing their space in parallel to C4 Workspace.
So, if you don’t work here where do you work? Leave a comment and let us know.
Enjoy!
Bruce Eric Anderson (@bruceericatdell) visited us at the beginning of August to get some work done while his family was out to play at SeaWorld. Bruce is a blogger at DigitalNomads (@digital_nomads), a community site for individuals that work or play without regard for their physical location Powered by Dell.
We were included in his first anniversary post, One Year of Digital Nomads, for Digital Nomads which we consider quite an honor. He wrote some very kind words about us…
Asked what my ideal workspace would look like today and I?d describe a workspace with no walls, large open-air spaces with lots of open tables for impromptu meetings and team collaboration. I?d also be listening to Nature Sounds Radio on Pandora in a set of noise canceling headphones to block out the ?loud laughers? that invariably would find me where ever I sat.
It would look very much like a place I worked out of a few weeks ago while spending some time in San Antonio with my family.
And Bruce shot a video of Todd giving a tour. Check it out!
Thanks Bruce!
[Note to self: Begin diet today.]
A great video from the lifehackingmovie.com on coworking featuring the first coworking space, The Hat Factory, and a French Connected coworking space PariSoMa, both in San Francisco.
It’s nice to know we’re in good company.
