WANTED: C4 Workspace Community Managers

We’re looking for one or two bright eyed Community Managers! Someone who can:

  • Greet and sign-in visitors and coworkers
  • Keep things tidy
  • Work on marketing activities

Essentially, be the face of C4 Workspace.

Hours are 9am to 6 pm Monday through Friday (or any portion thereof.) Our objective is to have all day coverage of the space so Residents and Coworkers can get out to meet clients and such.

Two part time job-sharers would be cool too!

In exchange you get a Resident Desk and all the opportunities you can handle to meet and collaborate with amazing people.

Our Anniversary Gift Registry

It’s our First Anniversary and we’re having a big party on June 5 to celebrate.

It has been an “interesting” first year. Getting the space off the ground, spreading the concept around, traversing the pitfall of a small business tied to a thing (the building.)

We’ve had a little list of needs and nice to haves but we’ve never posted it. So, just in case you were thinking of getting the space a gift, we thought we’d share what would be very special presents for C4 Workspace. (A traditional First Anniversary gift is paper and we have some items below that qualify. Look for the asterisk.)

Gently used items…

  • Small water heater 15-40 gallons
  • Projector (Ours walked away around the first of the year)
  • Espresso machine
  • PA System
  • Almost new Mac or PC (for shared use)
  • Drop ceiling for Conference Room (via fairy godmother or gift card(s) for materials)
  • Toaster Oven
  • 2 Drawer File Cabinets
  • Bookcases
  • Room dividers (or gift card(s) to buy materials and build)
  • Digital Camera
  • Coffee Urn

  • Printer paper – white
  • HP 02 ink jet cartridges – B&W and color

Wanted: Coworking Manager(s?)

C4 Workspace is looking for someone to replace the irreplaceable Chris Godfrey. (Yes, we know, big shoes to fill. Actually, his shoes are pretty average but Chris is defintely far above.)

So here’s the deal. We need help with:

  • Managing the space
  • Minding the store
  • Community events wrangling
  • Building community

We realize that 9-6, 5 days a week might be too much for one person. We totally get that. Our main concern is opening the space and prepping it for the day, so the only time you?d really NEED to be at the space is from 9am until after lunch. You?re welcome to stay longer, but if you?ve got a part time job or class or familial responsibilities we?re willing to work with you. We’re open to a job share ? 2 people to share the load!

The ideal candidate is someone who would want to be a member of C4 Workspace to begin with!
