Day Three: Space? What space?

I spent about 2 hours in the space this morning. Then I had appointments at the other side of town the rest of the day. It’s been a short relationship but I miss it so.

I was there to let the alarm installer in. The alarm was going to take more than the time I had so Debbie came down (poor thing, she’s so sick) and babysat. He got there at 8:45 and left at about 1:30. But now we’re all alarmed with a pretty tricked out alarm system.

As I waited for said alarm installer a couple of women stopped and read our sign. They peeked in the window (you know where you cup your hands on the glass around your eyes) and I waved at them. They gave me thumbs up; I’m thinking maybe we’re welcome in the neighborhood.  :-D

Made a post about the open house on Thursday but will need to send a reminder. The Social Media Club is meeting at 6 about 3 blocks away so it may be good timing. I think we’ll have one every week until we open.

Having some email exchange with the TweetCamp organizer. We’ve offered to host the camp on July 18 (for free) but she’s not sure the space is big enough. Hoping she’ll come to the open house and see for herself.

Have to talk to Andrew the Architect about the space plan and its budget tomorrow. And go over with Perla and Debbie the start up costs associated with the build out.
